電阻測量法是更主要的檢修方法之。該方法就是通過測懷疑的線路、 器件的阻值是否正常，來判斷故障部位和故障原因。比如在檢修電機運轉不正常故障時，可通過測電機3個繞組的阻值，判斷它是否匝間短路或斷路，而檢修無刷電機時，測它的3條傳感信號輸出線對地和5V供電之間的阻值時，可判斷霍爾元件是否損壞:再比如在整車無電故障時，還可測量保險管、電源鎖和供電線路是否斷路，控制器是否短路等。
